Hitch Wood Mist, near Hitchin, Hertfordshire
Hitch Wood is a fabulous local spot and in the spring the ancient woodland floor becomes carpeted with bluebells. I feel so lucky to have this woodland so close to home - a 15 minute drive and I’m there, which was very fortunate when I woke up early on this particular morning to discover mist outside my bedroom window. There was potential for it in the forecast but you never know with mist! So I quickly got ready, drove over there and enjoyed taking some photos in the wonderful conditions.
