Crummock Water, Lake District

Trying to be a bit creative when standing up on the hillside above Crummock Water at Rannerdale Knotts, I had the telephoto lens on a decided to focus in on one of the Woodhouse Islands. There was just enough light for some subtle reflections of the trees on the far side of the lake, which completely surrounded the island and a nice amount of ripple on the water to give an almost painted effect.
