Sand Dunes at Erg Chebbi, Sahara Desert, Morocco
When I was planning my tour around Morocco, I knew I just had to see the Sahara Desert, one of the natural wonders of the world. Having stayed overnight at a traditional Berber Camp, I awoke early to capture this shot just after sunrise, when the sun, being still low in the sky, cast long shadows across the dunes, capturing all the different shapes and ripples in the sand.
