Rooftops always amaze me, I find them so interesting. So whilst staying in a traditional riad in the medina (old town) of Marrakech with a roof terrace, I knew I had to take advantage of it. This was looking across to the minaret of the Koutoubia Mosque in the early morning light with the High Atlas Mountains in the distance.
