Parkhouse Hill and Chrome Hill, Peak District
It was bitterly cold standing on this ridge waiting for the sun as it rose over the hills and cast its light into the valley. I had eyed up this composition a few evenings before and anticipated that something like this would happen and I was not disappointed! I took a number of shots of the fleeting light, but particularly like this one with Chrome Hill illuminated and Parkhouse Hill looking a bit more ominous with its spikey peak.
