Taj Mahal, India
This image needs little introduction; it is of course the beautiful Taj Mahal, taken in the soft morning light. After getting up at 5.30am to be third in the queue outside the East Gate, I was not expecting the sun to make any appearance given the forecast of rain. At around 8am the sun gradually started to break through the cloud enabling me to capture this shot. It is amazing how the white marble displays a different tone throughout the day as the light changes.
