Whilst the sunset didn't bring much, I enjoyed photographing the harbour and Tartini Square at dawn with its twinkling lights. The town lies on Slovenia's short stretch of coastline along the Adriatic Sea and Croatia can be seen to the south. After getting up at 5.30am to be third in the queue outside the East Gate, I was not expecting the sun to make any appearance given the forecast of rain. At around 8am the sun gradually started to break through the cloud enabling me to capture this shot. It had to be a quick handheld 'point and shoot' as within seconds the raindrops were covering my filters. Even though it wasn't ideal conditions, I do love the atmosphere in this, with the mist and clouds swirling around Catbells in the distance. Lulworth Cove is an almost circular cove with a narrow opening to the sea and has other important features. The animal hides are softened and dyed in huge round vessels surrounding the floor of the tannery, containing urine and pigeon faeces as well as various coloured dyes.
